Manage activities

Sometimes you need to make changes to an activity that has already been published — maybe change the time, update the description, or cancel a session entirely. Here we walk through how to handle all such situations.

Edit an activity

You can edit an activity at any time, even after it has been published:

  1. Go to your activity in the app
  2. Tap Edit
  3. Change what you need — title, description, time, location, price, max capacity
  4. Save

Important: Changes to the price do not affect existing bookings. Customers who have already booked pay the price that was in effect at the time of booking.

Cancel an individual session

Sick, bad weather, or too few sign-ups? Here's how to cancel a session:

  1. Go to the activity in the app
  2. Select the specific session you want to cancel
  3. Select Cancel
  4. All booked participants are notified automatically

Customers who had booked the cancelled session are handled according to your cancellation policy. Normally they are refunded automatically.

Pause a recurring schedule

If you need to take a break (vacation, illness, renovation) but want to keep your activity:

  1. Go to the activity
  2. Edit the schedule and remove the dates you cannot hold
  3. Alternatively: unpublish the activity temporarily — it disappears from your page but all data is preserved
  4. Publish again when you're ready

Tip: If you know you'll be away for a certain period, cancel all sessions during that period in advance. That way you avoid notifying participants at the last minute.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I change the time of an activity that already has bookings? A: Yes, you can edit the time and date. Keep in mind that you should notify your booked participants about the change — they do not automatically receive a notification about time changes.

Q: What happens to booked customers if I cancel? A: All booked participants are notified automatically and refunded according to your cancellation policy.

Q: Can I delete an activity entirely? A: Yes, but if there are booked participants for future sessions, they need to be handled first (cancel the sessions so that customers are refunded). Unpublishing is often a better alternative — you keep all the history.

Q: How do I change the price? A: Edit the activity and change the price. The new price only applies to future bookings — customers who have already booked are not affected.

Q: I'm sick today — how do I cancel as quickly as possible? A: Go to the activity, select today's session, and tap Cancel. All booked participants are notified immediately. Do it as early as possible so your customers have time to adjust their plans.

Good to know

  • It's better to cancel well in advance than at the last minute — your customers appreciate it
  • Unpublishing is a good option if you want to take a break without deleting anything
  • Existing bookings are not affected by price changes
  • You can always contact your booked participants directly via the app if you need to communicate changes
