Waitlist

When an activity is fully booked, customers can join a waitlist. If a spot opens up — for example, if someone cancels — everyone on the waitlist is automatically notified.

How it works

  1. A customer tries to book an activity that is full
  2. The customer can choose to join the waitlist
  3. If a spot opens up — e.g. someone cancels or you add more available spots — everyone on the waitlist receives an email that a spot is available
  4. It's first come, first served — the first person to book the spot gets it
  5. No one has priority. Everyone on the waitlist is notified at the same time

This means there is no strict queue order. Instead, the person who acts fastest gets the available spot.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Will I be notified if a spot becomes available? A: Yes! Everyone on the waitlist receives an email as soon as a spot opens up.

Q: Does the person who joined the queue first get priority? A: No, there is no queue order. Everyone on the waitlist is notified at the same time, and the first person to book the spot gets it.

Q: Does it cost anything to be on the waitlist? A: No, it's completely free. You only pay if you actually book a spot.

Q: Can I remove myself from the waitlist? A: Yes, you can remove yourself from the waitlist if you're no longer interested.

Good to know (for creators)

  • The waitlist is activated automatically when your activity becomes fully booked
  • You don't need to do anything — the system handles notifications to customers
  • A popular activity with a long waitlist can be a signal that you should add more sessions or increase the maximum number of participants
