Revenue sharing
When you run a collab in Peach, you and your collaboration partner share the revenue. You choose how the split should look — 70/30, 60/40, 50/50, or whatever suits your arrangement.
Here we walk through exactly how it works, how fees are deducted, and how VAT is handled.
How it works
- When you create a collab, you choose a percentage split
- Each booking is automatically divided according to that percentage
- Peach deducts its fee (3.9%) on each party's share
- Both parties can see their share in the payout report
Step by step
- Create an activity and invite a collaboration partner (collab)
- Enter the percentage split — e.g. 70% to you, 30% to your partner
- Publish the activity
- For each booking, the split is calculated automatically
- Payouts are made separately to each party
Concrete example
Say a customer books an activity for 500 kr and the split is 70/30:
| Creator (70%) | Partner (30%) | |
|---|---|---|
| Share of booking | 350 kr | 150 kr |
| Peach fee (3.9%) | -13.65 kr | -5.85 kr |
| Payout | ~336 kr | ~144 kr |
The Peach fee is calculated on each party's share — not on the total amount.
VAT in a collab
This is important to understand:
- The activity has one VAT rate — it applies to the entire booking
- Both parties receive their share including VAT
- Each party is responsible for reporting VAT based on their share
- It is not possible to have two different VAT rates on the same transaction
If, for example, the activity has 25% VAT, that applies to the entire amount. Both you and your partner report VAT on your respective shares.
Changing the split
- Only the person who created the activity can change the split
- Changes apply only to future bookings
- Already completed bookings are not affected
- Always discuss changes with your collaboration partner first
Frequently asked questions
Q: How is VAT calculated in a collab? A: The activity has one VAT rate that applies to the entire booking. Both parties receive their share including VAT and then report VAT separately based on their portion.
Q: Can I change the split after the fact? A: Yes, the person who created the activity can change the percentage. But the change only applies to future bookings — previous bookings keep their original split.
Q: Who pays the Peach fee? A: Both parties pay the Peach fee (3.9%) on their respective shares. The fee is deducted automatically before payout.
Q: Where can I see how much I have earned from a collab? A: In your payout report, you can see the exact split for each booking — including gross amount, fee, and net.
Q: Can we have different VAT rates? A: No, an activity has one VAT rate. You cannot have different VAT rates on the same transaction.
Good to know
- Be clear about the split from the start — it saves hassle later
- The payout report is your receipt and documentation for accounting
- If you are unsure about VAT, talk to your accountant
- The split is visible to both parties, so it is completely transparent
