Own company — sole proprietorship or limited company
Already have your own company? Great — Peach works just as well for those running a sole proprietorship or limited company. You receive your revenue as a payout without Peach deducting tax, and you handle the accounting yourself.
How it works
- Create your creator account in the Peach app and indicate that you have your own company.
- Enter your tax identification number (TIN) — see below for which type depending on your company form.
- Set up activities, take payments, and build your business.
- Receive payouts on the 20th of each month — Peach pays out all your revenue minus fees.
Which tax identification number should you enter?
It depends on your company form:
- Limited company (AB) — enter your organization number
- Sole proprietorship — enter your personal identity number
You fill this in under Settings > Tax details in the app.
Payouts
You receive your full revenue, minus:
- Peach fee — the platform fee for Peach
- Stripe fee — the payment processor's fee
No tax is deducted by Peach. It is your responsibility to handle tax, VAT, and employer contributions through your company.
Payouts are made on the 20th of each month and cover sales from the previous month.
Accounting and documentation
Peach provides you with two important documents each month:
- Monthly report — shows your total sales from the first to the last day of the month. Great as documentation for your accounting.
- Payout statement — shows exactly what was paid out to you and which fees were deducted. Match this against your bank statement.
You can find both under Settings > Reports in the app.
VAT
The Peach fee includes VAT. This means you can use the input VAT on the Peach fee to offset against the VAT you have collected from your customers.
If you are not registered for VAT, you do not need to worry about this — you simply report your revenue without VAT.
Tips for accounting
- Use accounting software like Bokio, Fortnox, or similar — it makes life much easier.
- Record the Peach payout as a lump sum and reconcile against the payout statement.
- Save the monthly report as supporting documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which number do I fill in? A: If you have a limited company, enter your organization number. If you have a sole proprietorship, enter your personal identity number. You can find the field under Settings > Tax details.
Q: How do I account for Peach revenue? A: Use the monthly report as documentation for your sales and the payout statement to reconcile against your bank. The Peach fee and Stripe fee are recorded as expenses.
Q: Do I need to register for VAT? A: It depends on your turnover. If your annual turnover exceeds 80,000 kr, you must register for VAT with the Swedish Tax Agency. Below that threshold, you can choose to be VAT-exempt.
Good to know
- Peach never deducts tax for you when you operate through your own company — you are fully responsible.
- The payout statement is your best tool for keeping track of what actually lands in your account.
- If you are unsure about VAT or accounting, consider talking to an accountant or using accounting software with support.
